An Apology

Quarter Bin — By SpazDog Comics on March 27, 2010 at 2:17 AM

I owe an apology to Brian and Kristy, my fellow columnists at the Master Digital Color website and all of the faithful readers of my Quarter Bin column.  I have been absent for the last 4 months and fairly sparse in my posts in the few months prior to that.  When Brian offered me the opportunity to write for the Master Digital Color website, it coincided with an increased interest on my part to start writing again after a long drought.  It also coincided with the start of some health issues that would be progressively worse.  By last September, after a visit to the emergency room, a follow-up visit to the family doctor and follow-up testing, it became apparent that something in my lifestyle would need to change.  After looking into all the possible options, we decided to close our comic book retail store and move the business back to its web based origins.  We closed the store on December 31st and spent several weeks clearing out the store.  I’ve been able to acclimate to running the business from home and have retained quite a few of my customers from the retail store.  I’m more rested than I have been in the last 3 years.  I ready to get back to writing for the website again.  I have some interesting things to write about and I hope you’ll stick around to read them.  I am truly sorry that I let any of you, my readers down, and I will do my best to make it up to you week by week.
