A Thanksgiving Feast of Color!!

Halloween has its pumpkin chunk’n. Christmas has it’s snowball fights. You even may have a cake throwing fight on your birthday. But what about Thanksgiving? How should we celebrate those brave pilgrim’s and how they made friends with the native americans and feasted on the bountiful harvest?  Why…by shooting a turkey out of a cannon of course! Brian first posted this pre-flatted image of a lovely TNMT Venus launching the bird last year for thanksgiving but now seems like an appropriate time to show off a little of the Turkey Work.

CaptainMikewas the first to post to the thread this year.  I’m impressed with the render on the blast as well at a really nice job on Venus.  Great Job!

Jasmine13 posted this one.  Another nice job on the figure but also a nice color hold on the blast and of course…gotta love the blue sky and clouds back there.  Way to go!

And finally for today…a really nice image by Bandobras.  The render onVenus has to be one of my most favorite of all the images posted and the blast on the turkey has a really great classical comic feel to it.  Plus the dark color in the background adds to the overall mood of the piece.  Very nice work!

And so, from all of us at the Tribal Council, HueDoo.com, MasterDigitalColor.com and HiFi Color for Comics…I’d like to thank you for taking time out of your day to come visit our site.  Have a safe and happy Thanksgiving!
